The Experience: How It Works 🎨

To get your custom Hera foundation at TONEWORK, you’ll need to book a session with colorists and makeup artists. But don't worry if you didn’t plan ahead; the store is packed with AI-powered tablets ready to scan your face and dish out instant product suggestions. 📲

Step into the store, and you’re greeted by a cleansing room to prep your skin for a spot-on tone measurement. Input some basics like nationality, gender, and age group, and choose your top three skin concerns. The Skintone Finder—a stick with six colored circles developed with tech from KAIST—then takes over. It measures your skin's brightness, yellowness, and pinkness to find your perfect match. 🎯

The AI does its magic and suggests a shade, but there’s more! A makeup artist will show you a few alternative shades for comparison, ensuring you leave with a look you love. 💕

After you’ve chosen your shade, a robot arm takes over, mixing your personalized foundation right in front of you. It’s not just practical—it’s a mini show, complete with the robot shaking bottles and wielding brushes. In just 10 minutes, your custom foundation is ready! ⏱️

With over 150 shades available, tailored to either a glow or semi-matte finish in liquid or cushion forms, the options are endless. The whole process takes about 40 minutes and costs 70,000 won ($50), including the product. No wonder the booking slots are so competitive! 📅
